Skycut D Series Dual-Head Vinyl Cutter

Overview

The Skycut D Series is a dual-head vinyl cutter: two tool holders work in one pass, so it can kiss-cut and cut through, or crease and cut, without stopping to swap tools. A camera reads the registration marks on your print for accurate contour cutting at up to 600 mm/s and 2,000 g of cutting force. Choose the D24 for 24-inch rolls, or the D48 for 1,350 mm media, which DPI supplies with the extender table bundled. DPI Technology is the Skycut distributor in Malaysia, with local installation, training and service.

FAQ

What is the Skycut D Series?

A dual-head camera contour vinyl cutter from Skycut. It holds two tools at once, so it can kiss-cut and cut through, or crease and cut, in a single pass, and a camera reads registration marks for accurate print-and-cut jobs.

What can I do with two heads?

Load two blades to half-cut the stickers and cut through the backing in one pass, or a creasing tool and a blade to crease and cut card for boxes and packaging samples. There is no need to stop the job to change tools.

What is the difference between the D24 and the D48?

Width. The D24 takes media up to 720 mm with a 560 mm cutting width. The D48 takes media up to 1,350 mm with a 1,190 mm cutting width, and DPI supplies it with the extender table bundled. Both have two heads, 2,000 g of force and 600 mm/s.

What is the extender table on the D48?

A flat table that fits on the front of the D48 and supports wide sheets and rolls as they feed, so heavy media stays flat while it is cut. Skycut sells it as an optional extra; DPI bundles it with every D48 we supply.

Which software works with the D Series?

Skycut provides plug-ins for CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator, and the D Series also works with SignMaster. Send jobs by USB flash drive, USB cable or optional Wi-Fi. We set up the software during installation.

How much is the Skycut D Series in Malaysia?
