Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum material thickness on the KGT-LE2513?

The KGT-LE2513 prints on materials up to 150 mm thick, over a 250 × 130 cm print area. That suits thick rigid boards, wood panels, glass and ceramic tiles as well as acrylic, PVC foam board and aluminium composite signboards. Tell us your thickest substrate and DPI will confirm the set-up before you order.

Can the KGT-LE2513 print white ink and varnish?

Yes, as options. White and varnish ink can be added to the KGT-LE2513, which uses Ricoh Gen5 printheads. White prints an underbase or spot colour on dark and clear materials such as acrylic, and varnish adds a clear coat over selected areas. Mention white and varnish when you request a quote so DPI can configure the printer for your work.

Which RIP software is included?

The KGT-LE2513 comes with ColorGate RIP software, developed in Germany, as standard. The RIP handles colour management and job preparation for the 250 × 130 cm bed and Ricoh Gen5 heads, including the optional white and varnish layers. DPI handles delivery, installation and operator training in Malaysia, with certified engineers for after-sales hardware support.
