Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum material thickness on the KGT-LE1016?

The KGT-LE1016 prints on materials up to 70 mm thick, across a 100 × 160 cm print area. That covers rigid boards such as acrylic, PVC foam board and aluminium composite panels, plus wood, glass, ceramic tiles, gifts and packaging prototypes. For larger panels, the related KGT-LE2513 offers a 250 × 130 cm bed.

Can the KGT-LE1016 print white ink?

Yes. Two of the KGT-LE1016's six Ricoh GH2220 heads are dedicated to white, in a CMYK + 2W configuration. White can be printed as an underbase or spot white on dark or transparent materials such as acrylic and glass, so colours stay bright instead of disappearing into the substrate. The print area is 100 × 160 cm.

Which RIP software is included?

The KGT-LE1016 comes with ColorGate RIP software, developed in Germany, as standard. The RIP handles colour management and job preparation for the printer's CMYK + 2W ink set across its six Ricoh GH2220 heads and 100 × 160 cm bed. DPI handles delivery, installation and operator training in Malaysia, with certified engineers for after-sales hardware support.
