Say YES to: Decorative textiles!
with HP Latex technology
Brief
Decorative textiles are graphic images printed on polyester and natural fibers and then finished to create interior decoration products like cushions, bags, and even lampshades. Because durability and washability are important properties for home décor, HP Latex is the ideal technology without committing to a dedicated printer limited to only printing textiles. Textiles are high-margin applications that help you to expand into new markets! They are resistant to dry rubbing and are washable!
Snapshot process
- Select a high-resolution, personalized or decorative design.
- Choose from the four premex duravibe textiles, they each have a different touch & feel.
- Print the image on a HP Latex Printer using the prescribed media pre-set information for number of passes and curing time.
- If you want to achieve wash resistance, the printed textile should be heat-fixed in a specific device at 345°F for 80 seconds. Note: this step is only needed if you want the cushion to be wash-resistant but it is not mandatory.
- Assemble the cushion: you can use a sewing machine or turn to alternative methods such as special textile glues that you can find at any art & craft shop.
- Enjoy this unique piece!
